At Ford City Community Church, we are a welcoming and diverse community of believers. Whether you come from a rich church background, a different denomination, or no church experience at all, you are invited to join us on this journey of faith.

While we are rooted in the American Baptist denomination and uphold an evangelical tradition with its core beliefs, we warmly welcome all who join us, embracing attendees from every denominational background and walk of life. We practice an evangelical tradition that holds to the following beliefs:

Our Tenants of Faith

• We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and infallible Word of God as originally given.

• We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in Jesus Christ’s divinity, His virgin birth, His perfect and sinless life, His sacrificial death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to reign at the right hand of God the Father.

• We believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live a Godly life and equips them with power for service.

• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who know God to eternal life and those who do not to eternal judgment.

• We believe in the spiritual unity of all who trust in Jesus Christ.

• We believe in the practice of Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, as a sacred act for believers.

• We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ in power and glory to gather His church.

• We believe that worship is central to our lives and our relationship with God.

• We believe that prayer is vital to experiencing God's power and presence.
